Hellenic Community Aged Care located at Hellenic Drive, Dianella is owned and operated by the Hellenic Community Benevolent Association Inc.
This 96 bed ground level aged care facility is home to 92 permanent residents with 4 rooms for shorter-term respite care.
Hellenic Community Aged Care is close to the City of Perth and co-located with St Andrew’s Grammar School to provide a feeling of community with students visiting Hellenic Community Aged Care to sing and dance for the residents and on special occasions such as Mother’s and Father’s days.
Hellenic Community Aged Care has large single rooms with en-suites. Carers are present 24 hours of each day and all meals are prepared in the Hellenic Community Aged Care kitchen.
There are separate kitchens on each wing for residents wishing to remain independent in the preparation of their meals.
Activities are an important part of Hellenic Community Aged Care. Therepeutic music, singing, dancing, games and exercise programs are provided to meet resident needs. Craft, bingo, discussion groups, and visits to the local shopping centres and bus trips are part of the activities program. Residents are taken on a mid-day outings for lunch or a picnic/barbecue at various times during the year. Residents and their families are encouraged to attend social occasions.
Hellenic Community Aged Care is a multicultural environment with residents from a mix of cultural and religious backgrounds.
