The Centre for Hellenic Studies, WA is run directly under the auspices of the Hellenic Community of WA.
The Centre offers after hours Modern Greek language classes. These classes are available for all in the wider community who wish to learn Greek. Classes of conversational Greek are also available for adult learners. The Greek language, literature, mythology, dance, art, music and drama are all intertwined within the various programmes studied in the Centre.
The Centre for Hellenic Studies, WA is planning to offer a wide range of opportunities for students wishing to expand their understanding and knowledge of the Greek culture by offering stand alone courses in traditional Greek musical instruments (i.e. bouzouki) as well as Greek dance and even Greek cuisine.
