Effie Mazgaltzidis

Effie Mazgaltzidis has been a committed member of the Hellenic Community of Western Australia (HCWA) committee for the past four years, serving as Vice President for the past 18 months. She also holds the role of Vice President for the Hellenic Community Benevolent Association Inc. (HCBA) and St Andrew’s Grammar Inc. (SAG Inc.).

Effie is widely respected for her dedication to preserving and celebrating Hellenic culture. She brings strong leadership and a collaborative approach to her roles, actively supporting cultural programs, community initiatives, and events that foster connection across generations.

With a 27-year career at Hellenic Community Aged Care, Effie developed a deep understanding of community service and care, building long-standing relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Outside of her committee roles, Effie enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and tending to her garden.
