According to club records, Spiro has served on the committee for over three years. With more than 30 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, Spiro currently works as a Network Engineer at Neontech. In this role, he manages all aspects of business I.T. infrastructure — from servers and phone systems to complex Wi-Fi networks, data centre environments, database applications, web servers, and cloud technologies. His work spans a wide range of industries including construction, architecture, landscaping, aged care, education, and fabrication.
Throughout his career, Spiro has held various I.T. positions including Project Engineer, Project Manager, Service Delivery roles, and Authorised Repair Technician for major technology brands such as Apple, Acer, Asus, HP, and Toshiba.
Outside of work, Spiro enjoys designing and manufacturing electronic circuits and products. His hobbies include designing and 3D-printing functional objects, working on electronic engineering, microcontroller, and robotics projects, as well as woodworking, metalworking, welding, speaker design and construction, repairing electronic equipment, and fishing.
