It is with profound sadness that the Hellenic Community of Western Australia acknowledges the passing of Peter Katsambanis.
Peter was a devoted husband and father, a distinguished Member of Parliament in both Victoria and Western Australia, and a steadfast friend and champion of the Greek community in Western Australia.
During his service as Vice President of the Hellenic Community of Western Australia from 2021 to 2023, and School Board member of St. Andrews Grammar, Peter brought wisdom, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the role. Even after completing his tenure, he remained a passionate advocate and loyal supporter of our community.
His life was defined by service to others and a deep commitment to both Australians and Greek Australians. Peter’s pride in our heritage, values, and traditions was evident in everything he did. The impact he made and the legacy he leaves behind will continue to inspire future generations.
