April 10, 2026
St. Andrew’s Grammar student Angelina Kalantzis has been selected in the WA Under 15s State Team, marking an exciting achievement for the rising football talent.
Angelina’s journey began at just six years old with Floreat Athena Football Club, where she first developed her love for the game. Her selection in the state squad reflects years of dedication, commitment and growth both on and off the pitch.
She will represent Western Australia at the 2026 CommBank Emerging Matildas Championships in Melbourne, with the U15 and U16 State Girls Teams competing from 9–15 April at the Home of the Matildas at La Trobe University.
The teams were officially presented this week at the Sam Kerr Football Centre during their traditional shirt presentation ahead of the tournament.
St. Andrews Grammar congratulates Angelina on her outstanding achievement and wishes her and all members of the WA State Teams the very best as they compete on the national stage.
Angelina is one of 12 St. Andrew’s students who have made the state team in the last 12 months, with three of those students also earning national representation.
